While you dream of lush spring pastures, why not gain some

Join us at the McLane Audubon Center on Saturday, Feb. 20 for a day of ideas and inspiration you can take back to your farm and put to use. Register now using the discount code "earlybird" to save $5.

Vermont-based farm business expert Richard Wiswall will walk you through some fundamental exercises that will help you get a better handle on your farm business. Even if your eyes glaze over at the very thought of spreadsheets, Wiswall will keep your attention as you learn the functions of financial reports and learn how to calculate the actual cost of producing your goods.

Grazing consultant Sarah Flack, another Vermonter, will provide workshops on basic principles of pasture management and a more detailed look at infrastructure for more advanced grazing operations.

Rounding out the program will be talks on pasture renovation, regulations governing sales of meat, a high-tech cattle location, and
much more.

Top it off with a delicious lunch using products grown by Granite State Graziers' member farms, and it's sure to be a day you won't want to miss.

Full details and a schedule of the days events are available here.
